The 2012 Women’s League is an 18-hole Women’s golf league using handicaps on Wednesday mornings.
This league is open to all Women Golfers. There is no maximum amount of players allowed in the league.
All participants are required to have a current USGA handicap to be eligible for net prizes. If the league member does not have a CDGA handicap at Orchard Valley, proof must be provided of a current valid USGA handicap. Maximum course handicap that a participant will be allowed to compete with is 40. Guests without a handicap are welcome to play but will not be eligible for net scoring prizes.
All participants will play from the Red Tee Markers.
The League will have weekly sign-up. Please sign in each Wednesday for the following week. Call or contact the golf shop no later than Sunday to sign-in for the following Wednesday. If you fail to call or notify the golf shop, you will be put on a waiting list until a time becomes available.
If you cannot make a particular week and do not sign up for that week, you will not be required to play.
ALL USGA RULES APPLY, LOCAL DROP AREAS ARE TO BE USED.
Dates & Times
A sign up sheet will be available April 17th to sign up for the first day – May 2nd.
The first play day will be Wednesday, May 2nd and league play will end September 12th.
Tee Times will begin at 7am and run through approximately 9am Wednesday mornings – subject to amount of participants and seasonal tee time changes.
There will be a season ending Scramble and Luncheon that will take place September 19th. Sign up for this event will be open to league members first and to the general public a week later. Cost, time, and other details TBD.
League Play is subject to blackout days due to previously scheduled golf outings.
Fee
The daily fee is $32 per player, this includes your greens fee and cart. Carts are mandatory.
There is a mandatory $7 fee for the prize fund each day.
Guests without a handicap are welcome to play for a fee of $39 and are only eligible for non-handicap contests.
Weekly Events & Prizes
Payouts each week depend on the number of participants. Prizes in the form of gift cards are given to the weekly winners.
Prize cards are redeemable in the Golf Shop or the Orchard Valley Restaurant.
